The RQ-8A is available in 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 tabletop belt configurations to match various package sizes. (Roller conveyor version also available). The conveyor speed is variable, up to 29.4 m or 98 feet per minute on standard machines and as an option the speed can be increased to 40 m or 132 feet per minute. An inverter system makes it safe and easy to adjust the belt speed. The standard RQ-8A allows selection of 0, 1 or 2 straps. Optional automation packages are available to provide a variety of automatic strap placements. The standard RQ-8A also features self-correcting technologies vital in fully automatic applications, such as three-time auto re-feed, loop ejection, and the integrated, self-diagnostic monitoring system. Fully Automatic Machine

The RQ-8A is available in two, three, four, five, or six tabletop belt configu­rations to match various package sizes. The conveyor speed is variable, from 9.8 meters or 32 feet per minute to 29.4 meters or 96 feet per minute. An inverter system makes it safe and easy to adjust the belt speed.

The standard RQ-8A allows the selection of zero, one, or two straps. Optional automation packages are available to provide a variety of auto­matic strap placements.

Self-correcting technology, standard on all RQ-8A models, is vital in effective, fully automatic applications. Strap feed failures re feed three times, keeping the RQ-8A operating when minor strap problems are encountered. The integrated, self-diagnostic monitoring system displays vital machine functions and settings for easy maintenance.

Side Seal Machine

The side mounted head model adapts easily to conveyorized automated packaging systems. The side seal RO­SY is ideal for heavy products, since the weight of the product is on the conveyor and not the strapping machine. In applications where dirt and dust are a factor, the side-mounted head is desirable.

The compact design of the arch requires only a 76 millimeter or 3 inch gap in the conveyor. It is easy to slide the RQ-8Y out of the conveyor system wheR service is required.

Several options are available to make it easy to integrate the RQ-8Y into a conveyor system. An end of cycle interlock signals the conveyor system to restart and "cycle error" and "out of strap" signals warn if the machine requires an operator's attention

With Dual Sealing Head

The RQ-8DS features tandem head configuration which allows large lots of identical packages to be simultaneously strapped twice in a short time. The distance between the two straps needs to be specified at the time of the order (minimum 240 millimeters or 9 1/2 inches).

The double-strapping head configura­tion can be operated independently or programmed to cycle with the syn­chronization needed for high volume product movement. The built-in head redundancy allows production to continue when one system has been removed for scheduled or unsched­uled maintenance.

The RQ-8DS can also be built with the powered belt tabletops and automa­tion features of the RQ-8A.
